Cedar Hollow is a new neighbourhood in the northeast corner of the city, not far from Fanshawe Lake.  The form of the neighbourhood follows the curve of the Thames River, which is accessible via the hiking trails in Kilally Woods.  Nature is a dominant theme in Cedar Hollow with the river, Highbury Wetland, and Cedar Hollow Park all at the heart of the neighbourhood.

The nearest commercial areas are at Highbury and Fanshawe Park and Highbury and Kilally. The closest schools are Northridge and St. Mark Elementary, and A.B. Lucas and Mother Teresa Secondary.  The new Cedar Hollow Public School is currently being build and is expected to be open for the early part of 2018 and will include Family Centre Fanshawe along with a child care centre.
