Situated west of Wonderland Road North, the neighbourhood of Limberlost surrounds but is not limited to Limberlost Road. The area’s youth may attend nearby Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School and Wilfrid Jury Public School.

Summertime soccer games roll through Gainsborough Meadows, which also features play structures, with Thistledown Park’s baseball diamonds just around the corner. Back on Wonderland Road, the Canada Aquatic Games Centre boasts a 10 metre diving board for indoor swimmers, and Medway Community Centre has an ice rink, a splash pad, and rentable space for events – both just a stone’s throw away from Limberlost’s long-time commercial hub, Sherwood Forest Mall.

The mall itself is home to The Northwest London Neighbourhood Resource Centre, where residents do everything from attending workshops together, to accessing healthy resources, to volunteering.

Also contributing to the neighbourhood’s synergy is the London Community Chaplaincy’s Limberlost location, which provides community outreach, resources, and lively programming for local kids, adults, and families.

To the neighbourhood’s north, the Medway Working Group promotes healthy living, neighbourhood safety, and occasionally hosts fun, public events to promote active lifestyles.
