Old Masonville is a neighbourhood in northwest London located between the many meanders of Medway Creek and Masonville Mall. The neighbourhood is largely residential, with many single detached homes and a few townhome developments.  The main commercial and transit centre for the neighbourhood is at the the intersection of Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street.

The neighbourhood has two large parks; Ambleside and Helen Mott Shaw.  Ambleside Park has a play structure and tennis courts, Helen Mott Shaw has a play structure, swing set, and paths through the forest.  Old Masonville residents have many access points to the great hiking trails of the Medway Valley Heritage Forest Environmentally Significant Area.  There are two landmark historic homes in this neighbourhood: Windermere Manor, now a hotel and conference centre and the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate, now an event venue.   Discovery Park, a Western University affiliated research and incubation facility, is also located in this neighbourhood.

Masonville Public School is located in the neighbourhood, students also attend St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School, and A.B. Lucas and Mother Teresa secondary schools.
