The Highland neighbourhood is situated in south London, bordering Old South along Commissioners Road.  The neighbourhood is comprised mainly of single detached homes, townhouses, and some larger apartment buildings.  The main commercial hub is at Commissioners Road and Wellington Street.

Highland Woods Park is located in the middle of the neighbourhood, offering a playground, basketball court, and beautiful walking path.  Mitches Park is a major feature in Highland with a full soccer field, tennis courts, play structure and a running track. Earl Nichols Recreation Centre is also located in Highland and has three arena pads and a large meeting room with a full kitchen. The Highland Country Club is a prominent feature in the neighbourhood, with an 18-hole private golf course and curling facilities.  Students in the area may go to nearby Mountsfield, Sir George Etienne Cartier, and  St. Martin elementary schools, and Central Catholic and London South Collegiate secondary schools.
