Longwoods is a recently developed neighbourhood in south London. The main subdivision in the north end of the neighbourhood features new single detached homes, along with one townhouse complex.  This subdivision is unique as many of the streets are named after significant Canadian artists.  There is a large commercial complex at the intersection of Wharncliffe Rd. and Southdale Rd. in the neighbourhood and the neighbourhood is close to White Oaks Mall.

Paul Haggis Park is located in Longwoods.  It has a play structure, swing set, baseball diamond, and soccer field.  Students in the neighbourhood attend White Oaks and Sir Arthur Carty elementary schools and Westminster and Regina Mundi secondary schools.
